Men's Swimming & Diving Ranks Second at Championships

CDT Daniel Alaimo '22After one day of competition at the Patriot League Championships, the Army West Point men's swimming and diving team ranks second with 104 points. The opening day featured the 200 medley relay and the 800 free relay as well as the 3-meter diving finals. Navy currently holds the lead with 133 points, with the Black Knights right behind with 104 points. Lehigh (85), Bucknell (80) and Boston U. (70) rounded out the top-five, while Loyola (58), American (54), Lafayette (44), Colgate (36) and Holy Cross (28) followed. The foursome of Brian McKenrick, Brady Almand, Kevin Doo and Brandon McCredie took second in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:28.33. Army turned in another second-place relay time after Kevin Lin, Brian McKenrick, Tom Ottman and Kevin Doo posted a time of 6:30.30 in the 800 free relay. On the 3-meter board, Daniel Alaimo was the top-scoring cadet, coming away with a score of 309.65. Kyle Lipton also scored with a seventh-place showing after he tallied a score of 260.75.
