Women's Swim & Dive Takes Second at ECAC Championships

Women's Swim & Dive Takes Second at ECAC ChampionshipsThe Army West Point Women's Swimming and Diving Team earned a second-place finish at the ECAC Championships after compiling 674 points. Navy won the three-day meet in its home pool with a score of 762.5, while Bucknell rounded out the top-three, in a field of 20, with 322 points. Kim Sembrano highlighted the 200 back with a second-place time of 2:01.18. Hollis Clark also scored for Army, finishing in sixth at 2:04.60. The Black Knights dominated the 100 free, led by Lexus Van Hoven's top time of 50.95 to win the event. Mia Rankin (51.29) and Sammie Edwards (51.43), finished third and fourth respectively. Brianna Romaine (51.52) and Nicole Parry (51.70) also scored in the A-Final with finishes in sixth and seventh. Whitney Chang continued her successful weekend by posting a second-place finish in the 200 fly at 2:00.24. Army won the final event of the meet once Edwards, Romaine, Parry and Rankin clocked in at 3:24.53 in the 400 free relay. Read more.
