Cadets Observe the Art of Chocolate MakingLTC April Miller and cadets from the Chocolate Club, part of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) Club, visited Krause’s Chocolates in Saugerties, NY to observe their technique in the art of chocolate making. These techniques will be incorporated in their future projects.

The U.S. Senate voted overwhelmingly to confirm General(R) John Abizaid as the U.S. ambassador to Saudi Arabia, filling a vital position vacant since President Donald Trump took office more than two years ago. The Senate voted 92 to seven for the 68-year-old retired four-star Army general, who led U.S. Central Command during the Iraq war. Trump nominated Abizaid for the position in November 2018.

UAV Recovery with No Runway

What do you do when Army operators need to recover an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) without a runway? This capstone team designed a system that can successfully recover an RQ-7 Shadow from the air to the ground operating unit without damage to the UAV using air.
