Cadets Visit the Walter Hoving Home in GarrisonFour cadets visited the Walter Hoving Home in Garrison, NY. The students and teachers received a tour of the Hoving Home, dined with those there. The mission of the Hoving Home is to provide a loving community devoted to rebuilding shattered lives that empowers women. Hoving Home is committed to helping women heal and rebuild their shattered lives through Unshattered – a non-profit social enterprise employing women winning their fight against addiction by teaching them how to hand-make bags out of repurposed material.
