Jimmy Allen, the Lee Anderson Head Men's Basketball Coach at Army West Point, released the Patriot League portion of the team's 2019-20 schedule yesterday. The 18-game league slate opens on January 2 in Lewisburg, Pa., against a Bucknell team that has played in each of the previous three Patriot League Tournament championship games, while coming out victorious in two. Fans will have the opportunity to watch the Black Knights right after the holiday break when Army welcomes the defending regular season and tournament champions, Colgate, on January 6 before hosting American two days later.
The opening game of the annual Army-Navy rivalry will go down on January 25 in Annapolis, Md. A home matchup then awaits the Black Knights as Bucknell makes the trip to Christl Arena on January 29 for the regular season series finale. A rematch of last year's Patriot League Tournament quarterfinal round matchup between Army and Lehigh will go down on February 1 in Bethlehem, Pa. The two sides will meet again on February 15 on the banks of the Hudson. The highly-anticipated Army-Navy star series game presented by USAA is slated for February 22 at Christl Arena. Read more.
