Cadets Interview Soviet WWII VeteransCadets visited Brighton Beach to continue the project that began last year interviewing Soviet veterans of World War II, surviving allies of the fight to rid the world of fascism.

In the photo, the gentleman standing and wearing a tie is Boris Feldman, who is the President of the veteran association and nearly 100 years old. CDT Devon Joseph (far R) interviewed Iosif Sosna (seated), a 97-year-old who helped to liberate Crimea and then the Baltics from the Nazis.

CDT Lindsay Bowen (center) later interviewed Jan Neznansky 95, a platoon leader who lost all but four of his men in a mine-clearing operation in support of the liberation of Ukraine.
