West Point at 11th IEEE CCW Conference
Throughout the pandemic, our faculty, staff, and cadets have risen to meet new academic challenges and excelled! At the 11th Annual Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Computing and Communication Workshop and Conference (CCWC), our West Point Robotics Research Center (RRC) presented in the areas of artificial intelligence and machine learning, human-computer interaction, and robotics. The RRC team was represented by three cadets, Trevor Powers, Colin Jones, Curtis Manore, and three faculty, Mr. Pratheek Manjunath, Mr. Dominic Larkin, and Dr. Michael Novitzky. Assistant Professor Michael “Misha” Novitzky (RRC/EECS Department) was heavily involved in CCWC 2021 as part of the Technical Committee and session chair for several sessions.
A big congratulations to CDT Trevor Powers as he received a “Certificate of Best Presenter” for his presentation on the paper “AI and ML Improving Reward Functions in Robots Playing Capture the Flag Using Q-Learning” in the “AI, ML, and Algorithms” Session!
