Women’s Soccer Completes Thrilling Comeback VictoryArmy Women's Soccer defeated visiting Holy Cross in a thriller, netting the game-winner with 28.8 seconds left in regulation to defeat the Crusaders, 2-1 at Clinton Field at Malek Stadium.

The Black Knights (5-0, 4-0 Patriot League) went down for the first time this season, as the Crusaders (1-2) got on the board first with a goal in the 38th minute by Ellie Zern off the assist from Claire Carew.

The Black Knights were down 1-0 at the half, despite outshooting the Crusaders, 12 to 1 and collecting two corners to just one for Holy Cross.

Just four minutes into the second half however the Black Knights netted the equalizer, as Melanie Hupp finished off a pretty ball from distance into the right upper corner to make it a 1-1 ballgame.

The Black Knights continued to live in their offensive half and final third throughout the rest of the second half, as they tallied nine shots to Holy Cross' four and had three corner kick opportunities. Read more.
