Men’s Gymnastics Completes Competition at NCAAs
The Army Men's Gymnastics team had a total of 13 athletes compete in the second session of the NCAA Championship Friday evening at Maturi Sports Pavilion.
Floor Exercise: Mathew Davis posted a score of 13.933, which was tied for the 14th best score. Mitchell McHugh registered a mark of 13.333, which ranked 29th. Kalvin Kingshill tied for 31st with a score of 13.066.
Pommel Horse: Davis had the high score for Army in the event at 12.4, which was 24th. Matthew Martin tied for 31st with a score of 11.866. Joseph Minus (10.466) and Zachary Mitchell (9.2) placed 35th and 36th, respectively.
Still Rings: Davis had Army's top score in the still rings with a 13.4, which was 16th overall. Mitchell Monahan was tied for 20th with a mark of 13.0. Martin posted a 12.8, which was tied for 26th. Patrick Armstrong (12.7) and Kiernan Reagan (11.966) placed 29th and 36th respectively.
Vault: Jacob Nauman registered a 14.023 to place 18th. Connor Cavanagh was tied for 25th with a score of 13.833. Davis posted a 13.733 to place 28th. Miguel Aquino registered a 13.233, which was tied for 34th overall. Read more.
