Cadet Lead STEM Camps for Students
The Center for Leadership and Diversity in STEM executed virtual STEM camps for rising 7th/8th graders and rising 9th/10th graders. In the past, these summer STEM camps were held in-person, on campus. Over the summer, faculty members assembled over 230 individual STEM kit packages and sent them out to students all over the country who were accepted into the program. Twelve Cadets led and mentored students through five modules (cryptography, catapult design, rocket design, origami math, and bridge design). The camp also featured guest speakers, virtual lunches, Cadet panels, barracks room tours, and an introduction to West Point. Learn more about STEM.
