History of the Military Art, 1900 to Present, cadets had a hands on experience with history. Using historical weapons from the WWII, cadets were asked to describe how each weapon represented changes in warfare in the 20th century. Last week in Major Phil Murray’s sections, cadets paired off in teams of two to play the roles of S-2 intelligence officers and S-3 operations officers to present on the complexities of submarine warfare, logistical convoys from America to the United Kingdom, as well as strategic air campaigns and defenses. The combination of course learning objectives with team based learning and briefing exercises prepares our cadets for their future roles as leaders in the Army.
