Women’s Rugby Powers Past Penn State
Army West Point Women's Rugby Team closed out the regular season with a dominant 30-10 win over Penn State at the Anderson Rugby Complex. Army's offense had a slow start, coming alive in the second half scoring four tries. Kahala Bandmann led the Black Knights with two attempts. The teams were evenly matched from the start. Penn State got on the board first with a penalty kick to lead Army 3-0 at the 24th minute of the first half. Army bounced back quickly as Kaitlyn Schwarting broke through to pass off the Syndey Shaaf to cross the try line for Army. Read more.
