Cadets Move Up Men’s Track & Field Program’s ListsThe Army Black Knights Men’s Track & Field Team competed at the 2022 John Thomas Terrier Classic and CDT Marshall Beatty ’22 ran the second-fastest time in the 3000m (8:01.46) in program history, behind two-time Olympian Dan Browne ’97, while CDT Luke Griner ’24 ran the 800m in 1:49.98 which is the third best time by a Black Knight. Cadets Mitchell Burr ’24 (4:06.17) and Caden Foster ’22 (4:06.32) finished first and third in their finals section in the 1 mile. Read more.

Men’s Basketball Grinds Out Win Over Lafayette

CDT Aaron Duhart’s ’22 go-ahead layup with 46 seconds remaining lifted the Army Black Knights to a 60-56 victory over the Lafayette Leopards. The Black Knights scored the final seven points to slip past Lafayette in a game that featured 15 lead changes and eight ties. The Leopards led 56-53 with 2:54 left but Army held Lafayette scoreless for the rest of the game. Read more.

Men’s Tennis Tops Marist & Quinnipiac

The Army West Point Men’s Tennis team picked up a pair of wins over MAAC opponents, defeating Marist and Quinnipiac on Sunday. Army took the doubles point after winning all three matches. In three doubles, cadets David Gorshein ’22 and Daniel Zhou ’24 outlasted their opponents for a 7-6 win. Up next Army hosts Bryant (12 pm) and Fairfield (4 pm) on Sunday, February 6. Read more.
