Ultimate Frisbee at the Haverford Tournament
Army Ultimate Frisbee recently played their final regular season tournament in Haverford, PA. Army went 2-4 playing many high caliber teams, including the number six and number twenty-four teams in the country according to Ulti-world. Army started off strong on Saturday but was sitting 4 out of 7 offensive players due to injuries, and the Defensive line was not able to play consistently enough to work the disc down the field, leading to many turnovers. While disappointed with the specific results of this tournament, Army is still quite positive about its post season prospects with Nationals as the final goal. Army has been working hard to prepare and be at its fullest potential for the upcoming Sectionals.
