CDT Harpole Working at the Pentagon

CDT Lauren Harpole is working with the Joint Staff J5 ENR (Europe/NATO/Russia) office at the Pentagon as a part of the Russia team. In addition to gathering intelligence and advising policymakers, she has had the opportunity to visit the National Security Council and speak with Russian policy experts such as Ms. Sarah Hahn, a director of the NSC Russia directorate. As an international relations and Russian major, this Advanced Individual Academic Development (AIAD) has given CDT Harpole insight into real-world problems that will require novel solutions in the coming years.
